Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 August 2026

1. Who we are

lumin42 ("we", "us") operates this website. For any privacy query, contact matthewcreighton181@gmail.com.

2. What data this site actually collects

This site does not run analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies. It does not have a database or server-side account system. Two things happen locally that are worth being transparent about:

3. Email correspondence

If you email us (including via the contact form), we keep that correspondence like any normal business email, for as long as reasonably needed to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and for basic record-keeping.

4. Your rights (UK GDPR)

If you've emailed us, you have the right to ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw any consent. Contact matthewcreighton181@gmail.com to exercise any of these.

5. Third parties

We don't sell or share your data with third parties. This site is hosted on Netlify — standard web hosting infrastructure logs (e.g. server access logs for security/reliability) may exist at the hosting-provider level, outside our direct control, in line with Netlify's own privacy policy.

6. Children

This site is intended for business use and not directed at children.

7. Changes to this policy

If this site's data practices change (for example, if we add real accounts, chat features, or payments), this policy will be updated accordingly.

This reflects the site as it actually works today — a static informational site with no backend and no tracking. If lumin42 launches products with real user accounts, live chat, or payment processing, this policy will need real expansion to cover that (account data, payment data, retention periods, etc.) — a fuller template for that scenario already exists in the internal vault. This page has not been reviewed by a solicitor; recommended before relying on it commercially at scale.
